So I looked at new and used OEM and wow, even old crusty used OEM back rests were expensive and being used I would have either had to pay shipping or drive a distance costing even more for fuel.I have two of these now, one on each of my Road Kings.What I like about them is the ability to switch them around from front to back by pulling them out of their mount and taking the velcro pocket off and flipping the pad over to make an inch or two front to back change. On longer trips I’ve found that sometimes I want to sit up straight but still have lower back support so I turn the back rest forward, then sometimes I want to lean back put my feet up on the highway pegs and just cruise so I turn the backrest around and it moves it back an inch or two.This set up is easy to install, easy to use and works great!Why buy an expensive OEM back rest that doesn’t work as good?
