Ozark Trail 7-Piece Camping Tool Set with Hammer, Axe, Flashlight, and Knives, Batteries Included
I bought this multi-tool to keep in an emergency go-bag. It should be sufficient. The quality seems pretty good, especially for the low price. I checked some video reviews on YouTube before deciding to keep it, which I did. The larger knife and saw are extremely sharp, but the serrated knife isn’t. It would be nicer if it had little scissors and the handlers were closer together while using as pliers. The tools snap into place, but do not lock. I’m not sure I trust the belt loop on the carrying case, but I don’t plan to carry it around on my belt anyway. The plier are spring loaded, which makes them easier to use. The tools on one side were extremely tight. I fixed that by removing one of the wider washers and replacing it with a #10 stainless steel washer that I just happened to have. It’s perfect now. (The assembler probably just used the wrong washer, so this might be an isolated incident. A #10 washer is the same thickness as the factory’s thinner washers.) Unless something goes really wrong, I’ll never need my go-bag or this tool. If needed, it’s ready. (Just test the small tools to make sure they aren’t too tight.) Since I haven’t use it, I can’t rate the durability, but I’m sure it would last through an emergency.
